- •German, French and Spanish: the side panel, settings page, reports and messages follow your browser’s language when it is German, French or Spanish, and stay English otherwise. Numbers, dates and file sizes follow your browser’s regional format. CSV exports keep English column headers, so files exported in different languages line up
- •Edit Metadata (Pro): set column values on one item, or on the items in a list or library, a folder and its subfolders, or a set of item IDs, without changing Modified, Modified By or the version number. It uses SharePoint’s system update under your own account, so it only changes items you already have permission to edit
- •Edit Metadata previews the items with their current values, updates them in small batches and checks each one afterwards, stops if SharePoint changes an item’s Modified, Modified By or version, and lets you download the results as CSV
- •Supported columns: single line of text, plain multiple lines of text, number, currency, choice, yes/no, date, person, lookup and hyperlink. Managed metadata, rich or append-only text, and the folders themselves are not supported yet
🔒Plan Changes
- •Find Duplicate Files becomes a Pro feature
- •Hide Current Library and Hide Current View become Pro features, like Manage Hidden Libraries and Manage Hidden Views. On the free plan a library could be hidden but not shown again with SPO Scout
- •Folder Structure on the free plan reads a library’s top-level folders, and the results say so. Pro reads every level
- •Library Analytics on the free plan no longer includes version history (the space previous versions use and how many versions files keep). File types, sizes and ages stay free, with one scan a day of the first 200 files
🚀Improvements
- •The side panel groups tools by task, says on each tab whether its tools change SharePoint, and uses its full width when you widen it, showing tools in two, three or four columns
🐛Fixes
- •Pro activation: after activating a license in the side panel, Pro tools work straight away instead of opening the upgrade dialog until the panel is reopened
- •Sites in other languages: system libraries such as Site Assets and Site Pages, and Limited Access, are recognized on sites that are not in English
- •Clicking a Pro feature on the free plan only opens the upgrade dialog; the feature’s own screen no longer opens behind it
- •History: Recreate Library, Copy Page, Reset Permissions and other entries show readable titles and complete results

PATCH🐛Fixes
- •Permissions Report: libraries and lists with more than 5,000 items are now checked in full. Previously only the first 5,000 items in each list were checked for unique permissions, so exceptions beyond that could be missed
- •Remove Shared Links: link types are labelled correctly, as Anyone, Organization or Specific people, with view or edit. Some links were shown with the wrong type before, for example a link for people in your organization as “Anonymous”
- •Remove Shared Links: the scan says how much of the library it checked, and shows “Checked the first 2,000 of N items” when a library is larger
- •Library Analytics PDF: the size of previous versions is described as measured from each file’s version history, not as an estimate
- •The PRO badge in the header shows its gold style
